Provides a state licensed outpatient program for individuals seeking assistance with substance abuse i ssues .

Provides a state licensed and certified substance abuse residential treatment facility for up to 40 clients participating in detoxification (3+ days) and/or residential treatment (1 - 6+ months) services, as well as a 22 bed Sober Living Enviro nment.

Redwood Community Services provides an integr ated system of community - based substance use treatment prevention, intervention, counseling, and recovery services that embrace a well – living model in order to promote healthy, safe and thriving families throughout the community.

If you are an addict, you must first admit that you have a problem with drugs before any progress can be made toward recovery. These questions, when honestly approached, may help to show you how using drugs has made your life unmanageable. Addiction is a disease which, without recovery, ends in jails, institutions, and death. Many of us came to Narcotics Anonymous because drugs had stopped doing what we needed them to do. Addiction takes our pride, self-esteem, family, loved ones, and even our desire to live. If you have not reached this point in your addiction, you don’t have to. We have found that our own private hell was within us. If you want help, you can find it in the Fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous. “We were searching for an answer when we reached out and found Narcotics Anonymous. We came to our first NA meeting in defeat and didn’t know what to expect. After sitting in a meeting, or several meetings, we began to feel that people cared and were willing to help. Although our minds told us we would never make it, the people in the fellowship gave us hope by insisting that we could recover. Surrounded by fellow addicts, we realized that we were not alone anymore. Recovery is what happens in our meetings. Our lives are at stake. We found that by putting recovery first, the program works. We faced three disturbing realizations: We are powerless over addiction and our lives are unmanageable; Although we are not responsible for our disease, we are responsible for our recovery; We can no longer blame people, places, and things for our addiction. We must face our problems and our feelings.

The Al-Anon program is based on the 12 Steps adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous which we apply to our lives, one day at a time. Although a separate entity, we cooperate with AA, and consider it an important resource for understanding alcoholism.

Co-Dependents Anonymous is a Fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships. We gather together to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery — learning to love the self. Living the program allows each of us to become increasingly honest with ourselves about our personal histories and our own codependent behaviors. We rely upon the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of our program and guides to developing honest and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. In CoDA, we each learn to build a bridge to a Higher Power of our own understanding, and we allow others the same privilege. This renewal process is a gift of healing for us. By actively working the program of Co-Dependents Anonymous, we can each realize a new joy, acceptance and serenity in our lives.

Since 1974 we have been providing services to the recovery community starting as the Mendocino Alcohol Project. The Ukiah Recovery Center, a Ford Street Project, was established in 2015, continuing to provide withdrawal management, outpatient treatment, and residential treatment services, while adding another program; a sober living environment in a new larger site. This site allows for continued growth and increase services to our community. Our goal is to empower the clients we serve by providing them with the skills to see their own potential through daily classes and individualized sessions. We strive to help our clients create the life they want to have using compassion, attention to the individual’s specific needs, while celebrating their diversity and differences. A Counselor will work with you to create an individualized program to address the specific needs and barriers that have kept you repeating unhealthy patterns.

Round Valley Indian Health Center includes the Yuki Trails Human Services Program, located at 23000 Henderson Road. The Yuki Trails Human Services Program is a Tribal organization dedicated to promoting individual, family, and community healing and wellness.

The main goal of a treatment facility is to help addicts overcome their reliance on addictive substances so that they can lead a life that is drug and alcohol-free.
